Frequently Asked Questions About Our Wedding

Below, we have included Frequently Asked Questions about our wedding. If you have any questions that are not featured below, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We are more than happy to help.

You provide your RSVP through our website. You can view the RSVP form here. Feel free to provide your RSVP as soon as you receive your official invitation. However, we expect all RSVP’s to be confirmed by 27th April 2025. (Unless you can’t use a computer, then I’m not sure how you are reading this!)

While we would love children to come, only children of close family and friends are invited to the wedding. (Although some of the adult guests act like children!)

While we would love everybody to come, we have capacity limitations with our venue. We are only able to accommodate those named on your invitation and we cannot make any exceptions.

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. However, our ceremony is outside and our reception is inside so please dress accordingly. Also, no white dresses are allowed. (My maid of honour has the red wine ready!)

Any dietary requirements can be noted on your RSVP. Alternatively, please contact us to confirm your dietary requirements so we can make adjustments accordingly.

Yes, the venue does provide parking on-site. This is provided by Hackness Grange. Parking is also free of charge. (Yes Josh, this means you don’t have to pay.)

Our ceremony is at 2pm on he 13th July 2025. We would like guests to arrive no earlier than 1pm. You will be seated by 1:45pm.

Our wedding is taking place at Hackness Grange in Scarborough. You can find the location details here.

If you are unable to attend, please complete the RSVP at your earliest opportunity so that we can plan accordingly.

We ask that all guests do not post any images or videos on Social Media before the bride and groom do. We do have professional photographers present, so forget about your phone and celebrate with us!

Once the bride and groom have posted, please feel free to share images as much as you like!

All good things must come to an end, and so will our wedding day. Our wedding ends officially at 12am. Due to the location of the venue, please prior plan your travel to avoid disappointment.

If you haven’t provided an RSVP in time, you will be confirmed as not attending due to our venue requiring confirmed seats.

Hackness Grange is a Cashless Venue. This means that they do not accept any form of cash and only accept card payments. They do accept contactless card payments, meaning Apple Pay and Google Pay will work too.

Yes, Hackness Grange provides a hotel on-site for guests to stay the night of our wedding. You cannot stay the night before. Please contact us for the booking link and details.

Yes. Milo our Labrador and Thunder the German Shepherd will be present to enjoy the big day!

No. The only animals permitted at our wedding venue are Milo and Thunder. Apologies.

No, they don’t. You must pay for your drinks as you order them. We are also not having an open bar.
